Essentially Far Cry 4 reworked Far Cry 3, and Primal reworked 4. There is a lot of re-skinning going on in these games so anything you can do to differentiate the games is a good idea. I love them and I love these devs but I'm just pointing out the elephant (or mammoth) in the room. On survival mode expert difficulty you are no longer on top of the food chain as in other Far Cry titles: you have to always stay alert, if a predator (most kinds anyway) spots you before you spot it, you are done for.
